A very trendy choice in casual beach bridal footwear this year is the "bridal flip flop" otherwise known as "wedding thongs"! If your wedding is a very casual, informal affair, wedding thongs are totally acceptable.

It is very popular these days for a beach bride to wear flip flops while the groom wears loafers or goes barefoot. Nobody likes sand in their shoes so, not only are flip flops pretty, they are practical too!

August 24, 2005 01:57 - This Month's Issue of the "Beach Wedding Scene" is here!

Well, the kids reluctantly headed back to school. Who could blame them for dragging their feet? It's a sure sign that summer's end is drawing near. There are still some great beach days left though...it's not "Labor Day Weekend" yet! Make the most of them!

Thankfully, the space shuttle "Discovery" completed her successful mission this month after many difficulties. I for one was apprehensive but very glad to see her bring her crew home safely! It got me to thinking about "celestial" wedding themes. Hmmm...stay tuned for more on that idea.
