Florida Videographers

Today, more and more couples are hiring professional Florida Videographers to capture their precious beach wedding memories.

Videography allows you to relive the magic of the day. Every action, every sound, every nuance captured beautifully for you to see, hear and remember.

The idea of creating a wedding video not new. For years, people have entrusted the operation of family video camera to 'Uncle Charlie' at weddings. The result was usually two or more hours of video remembered mostly for bad lighting, blurry images, poor sound quality (if any at all) and "jumpy" pictures that seemed to get worse as the evening wore on. Hey - it's hard to drink, dance and film at the same time!

Today, digital technology gives us the ability to create wedding movies with the look, sound and feel of a Hollywood production. While you may still want to hire a professional photographer for your still shots, you will rely on your professionally produced wedding movie to relive the magic of your wedding day. Your vows, the first dance, the toast, the emotions and every person who shared in your joy will always be there - for you, and for future generations, on your wedding DVD.

Things To Consider When Choosing Your Florida Videographer...

Recommended Florida Videographers:

Lin Byrd's Byrd's Eye Video Production

In general, picking a videographer will depend on three things, video quality, audio quality and style.

Though you may not understand all of the technical jargon often used to describe the latest video equipment, the quality of samples will give you a true indication. Good equipment and wireless microphones will produce crisp, clear audio and video. That is what you are looking for.

Different videographers have different styles - traditional, cinematic, photojournalistic, free form and more. There is no right or wrong choice, your personal preference will be the deciding factor. Look at samples. You will know what style is right for you when you see it.

A Few Questions That You Should Ask...

  • How many years of experience do they have? Is it a hobby or a full time job?
  • Who will actually be recording your wedding? Will there be more than one person?
  • How many cameras will be used? Do they have back up equipment?
  • Do they use digital sound recorders? Will the vows be crystal clear?
  • What is their style? Can you watch a whole, completed wedding DVD that they have done?
  • Does the movie flow smoothly from previews to the ceremony and end with highlights?
  • Can you choose your own music for montages?
  • How long will the edited DVD be? Will a menu, titles and captions be included?
  • How long will it take to receive the finished product? Will they release copyright?
  • How much will it cost? Is a deposit required? What is the payment policy?

If you are satisfied that you have found the perfect Florida videographer, be sure to get everything in writing. Read the contract carefully and don't be afraid to ask questions if you are unsure of something before signing it! You want no surprises and no regrets!
