If you have ever driven down the east coast of Florida, there are three waysto get to any destination. Take I-95 if you are in a hurry and don't want to see anything.Take US-1 which runs parallel to the Intracoastal Waterway a goes throughall of the waterfront towns. But...if you have plenty of time and love scenic views, take A1A. This little road meanders through all of the little towns on the Barrier Islands.That's where you will find Fort Lauderdale By The Sea! You may want to considerhaving your Fort Lauderdale beach wedding on their pier. The Fort Lauderdale area is a wonderful place to have your wedding and honeymoon.While you are there, make sure you visit the Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District in downtown Fort Lauderdale.There is absolutely everything you could think of right there! You can take ariver cruise and see the homes of some of the "Rich and Famous", shop until yourhearts content or visits the museums. The night life is booming with live musicand oodles of night clubs. They also have a 3D Imax theater which is really cool.If you have never been to an Imax theater, you really have to try it!
