A slightly breezy, but otherwise perfect evening on Sand Key in St Petersburg set the stage for this romantic wedding. It took place during the first week in Febraury of 2006. Proof that anytime of year is the perfect time for a beach wedding in Florida!

The ceremony, performed by Whimsical Weddings By The Sea and officiated by the Reverend Leah, was held at 7 PM, just as the sun was preparing to set on the breath-taking Suncoast of Florida.

Paul & Lissette, from the Central Florida town of Apopka, were accompanied by only a handful of friends and relatives who gathered to witness and celebrate their union. Following the ceremony, in a very touching gesture, Paul & Lissette released a beautiful butterfly for each of their loved ones who has passed on and could not share in their joy.

A champagne toast right on the beach seemed to complete the perfect day!
