There are three things in West Palm Beach that are a must see.

The first is the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. This is the center for Japanese arts and culture in South Florida. It is actually located in Delray Beach which is just a few miles south of West Palm Beach. The musuem buildings are structured after Japenese design and are home to authentic Japenese art exhibits, a theater, store, cafe and a tea house. You may not really be into Japenese art but, the place is beautiful and you just can't help but be amazed at the tranquility and beauty.

If you want a West Palm Beach Wedding with an oriental flair, the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens will allow you to rent their facilities for you wedding! It's not quite a beach wedding but you can have your ceremony on the gorgeous terrace with a lake view or you can have it in their gardens. These gardens are so peaceful and absolutely stunning! You ceremony their would be nothing short of totally romantic and elegant!

Make sure you stay in West Palm Beach long enough to experience Clematis by Night. You have to be there on a Thursday though! This is like a weekly festival of sorts that goes on every Thursday night in Centennial Square on Clematis Street!

You can dance to great rock, r&b, reggae, blues, soul and swing music. You can enjoy sidewalk shopping from local vendors selling their arts and crafts and you won't go hungry either. Try out the selection of ethnic foods - Cuban, Middle Eastern, Bahamian and Jamaican. You can expect to see 3000 or more people in the streets for this event if weather permits, so, expect a party!

Last but not least...if you love to shop...I can hear your partner groaning already...

You are in "shopper's paradise"! You are going to find exclusive boutiques and department stores that sure aren't in your hometown mall! Go to City Place! Thisplace is neat. It is a huge old building that has been restored to become a majorFlorida shopping attraction. But it's not just "s building"...it's like an old Italian town. People live here too. There are lots of private residences that add 24-hour life to City Place's streets and plazas. There are theatres, restaurants, neat fountains and oodles of shops.

Trust me, if you are planning a West Palm Beach wedding and honeymoon, youwill be "tuckered out" long before you see everything there is to see!
